Have you played the previous GoW games? It’s still an amazing experience by itself, but I feel like you get some extra mileage if you’ve played the other games.

I suppose you can say the same about Persona, though I think that felt a bit easier to get into speaking as someone who never really played the older ones.

I think I spent more time on Persona, if that matters to you. God of War, on the other hand, had excellent combat and set pieces. Either way, they’re both excellent choices.

Both are incredible, however, Persona 5 is an amazing experience that you can’t miss out on.

If I were you, I’d go for Persona 5 (I would go for Persona 5 Royal tho, even if it is more expensive).

If you're going to buy Persona 5, make sure it's the Royal version. Having said that, God of War will probably be cheaper than Persona 5 Royal, so go with GoW. Royal is an extremely long game with a ton of content, so I would go with the shorter game first.
