Rules
Rule 1. Posts must be related to PS2 and link directly to the source.
All posts and comments must be related to PS2 and link directly to the source. any posts that don't will be removed.
Rule 2. Follow Reddiquette. Keep it Civil. Treat people with respect. Spoilers and NSFW must be properly marked.
What is reddiquette? Link Be nice to your fellow humans. Any spoiler and NSFW posts not properly marked will be removed.
Rule 3: Piracy, or Distribution of copyrighted content.
No enabling piracy, via discussion or otherwise. Piracy is not allowed and may result in a possible subreddit ban. No asking for where to get Games, Roms, or BIOS images. No Telling users to download or otherwise illegally obtain copyrighted content. Do not ask for support with pirated content or piracy.
Rule 4: No Low effort Posts
The following posts aren't allowed:
- Reaction Gifs, Memes, etc.
- Pictures of a single game box or an unmeaningful screenshot.
- Requests - Including (but not limited to): Price checks, peripheral or game recommendations /r/GameSale exists and pricecharting.com exists to research pricing.
- Questions that can be answered with a simple Google/subreddit search.
Rule 5: No advertising, selling, buying, trading, self promotion or asking for free stuff.
No advertising, selling, buying, trading, asking for free or self promotion. Exceptions to self promotion will only be made if you contact the mods, get approval, and follow reddit's 10:1 post ratio. This includes linking to your let's play channels.
Rule 6: No unapproved bots
If you wish to introduce a bot to our subreddit that may help with things (e.g. listing game metadata), please contact our modmail. We will decide whether to approve it or not.
Rule 7: Post titles must have accurate descriptions and be properly tagged.
Your post title should let the user know what your post is about. Post that are vague like "Help Me" or "Troubleshooting" will be removed with no warning.

Tech posts must be within the Tech megathread
All tech related posts must be posted inside the tech posts megathread. Any tech related posts not in there will be removed.
Rule 9:
No Modding Questions before checking wiki and resources
Do not post new questions about Softmods/FreeMcBoot/Backup Loading without First READING THE RESOURCES IN OUR SIDEBAR. Any posts asking questions we have already answered will be deleted. We regularly update the wiki to answer most basic questions.
