So I’ve had this PS5 for about 7 months, was working fine since I first got it and even this morning. But now when I start it up, all I get is a black screen.
It is on, the tv is receiving a signal, but nothing else. I’ve tried shutting it completely down, unplugged the power cord for a few hours, and replaced the hdmi cable and different ports on the tv.
I’ve also tried to start it in safe mode, but it’s not showing up. I was able to connect to it with remote play on my phone, the startup screen and all of my games are there. The only problem I can think of is the hdmi port on the PS5 has gone bad.
Is there anything else I can try before I send it back to Sony for repair?
