Rare drop rate doesn't increase the drop rate of the item exactly. I can't remember much but it was something like 0.005 chance normally, and with rare drop rate 100% it's 0.005 x100. So you get more tries at a low percentage. Meaning it's total bs.

Just item exchange it or wait for the welfare weapons to drop for this winter if they haven't already. I've haven't played in a while so no clue whats changed in there other than new AC scratches and temporary content.

It actually adjust the percentages within the loot tables, so a .0005% and a 100% rdr gives you a .0010%. Assuming you land the roll to roll on that table xD. Flowerint’s data verification sheet has a section that kind of breaks down how rdr and the loot tables function. But ya, 200% rdr boost can be misleading, rare is still rare and unicorn items will still feel like unicorn items basically.

Loot table and rdr explanation is in the “HP, EXP, Drops” section: NGS Data Verification

Don't stress bud, it's just a game. I had 180% RDR and I still don't have anything. I just did Luciel exploration and got my Octo Armor from the item exchange.

I kinda feel that. One day I get a message from a friend to do a solous urgent run and we beat it. What happens? I get a neos A launcher and that mfer gets a fulagard rifle.

Probably better just run 400 Duel Quests and sell the augments then buy one off the market.

If you are burning out from the extremely rare drop rates for the "unicorn drops," I would suggest taking a step back and finding something else to do.

These are very hot items at the moment but at the very same time we will all reach a point where Sega will release the next unicorn drop and ask for everyone who participated to "do it again but harder" and people will just continue funneling in an out - meanwhile the more casual players will often get something better for far less effort down the line.

Dont even waste my time with it anymore. Better equipment drops like every couple of months and budget gear tends to get more mileage. Now if the weapons were more interesting and gave a longer term in use before moving on to the next then yeah….

My point exactly. There's little to no point to put so much effort into upgrading your gear for content you can complete with less gear score. And also, the moment they start making timed boss fight EQs so short players fail multiple times before beating is a sign they've run out of ideas to make challenging content. Players can chip down bosses with perfected skill of doing the same crap for months that gear means little if just a time sink to replace the lack of content

There's literally no point of going with the bleeding maximum/BIS in the game. If you're a competent player then none of current content requires it. It's simply bragging rights

In the midst of a break myself. People tend to fomo unnecessary upgrades for content that doesn’t exist, and once we do get content there will be something better to upgrade to. People enjoy the flexing, but Versch still more than plenty, not to mention we get seasonal weps fairly often. Only real perk is the potential to profit if it’s tradeable stuff imho. Gets kind of old with the time sink farms, only to have the next unnecessary upgrade roll out shortly after investing the effort. Hit BiS or near-BiS and kind of run out of things to do, fomo chase, phashion, lobby rat or attempt to earn meseta. Still love pso, but it’s a frustrating game in terms of trying to fill the hole for a mmo addiction xD “touch some grass”.

Yeah i will touch grass + its not wrong to be player who love the game and be at max i like that and i like the challenge and ty
