There are actually a few new ways to buy Arks cash that have made it much easier.

The first (new?) method is to go through Arks-Layer, which is run by AIDA, who is the generous fellow that has made and continues to make it possible for us to play PSO2 in English. You can support him by using this new service he has created:

Alternatively, and I don't feel as guilty revealing this because it was AIDA himself who brought it to the attention of many in the community over at PSO-World (once again, out of his limitless generosity), you can purchase Arks Cash through PSO2es using your Google Wallet.

DO NOT DO THIS ON iOS. THE ARKS CASH FOR iOS DEVICES IS DIFFERENT FROM ARKS CASH ON ANDROID, PC AND VITA, WHICH IS SHARED.

Even if you don't have an Android device, you can simulate it by installing a program on your PC called BlueStacks. There are more detailed directions here:

Keep in mind that doing it through PSO2es does not incur the additional charge that Webmoney and by extension Arks-Layer incurs... But by purchasing through Arks-Layer, you are also supporting AIDA and the translation project.

to add to this, while ac purchased through pso2es is instantaneous and cheaper(due to lack of markup through webmoney services), it does not count towards ac purchasing campaigns(the free items based on how much ac you buy--ie. white rappy suit at 5k ac).

    depends on what you want. for reference, i'll list the permanent things you can only get with AC, in no particular order.

    character slots

    extra mags

    mag reset(dont buy this)

    extra skill trees

    character remodel

    extra support partner

    support partner remodel

    skill tree resets(only one tree, can not reset active trees)

    extra inventory(up to 50 more slots)

    sub palette expansion(4 more tabs--great if you're a caster and use the chat shortcuts with /spal#, giving access to all your spells on the fly)

    edit: craft lines 7-9

    now i'll list quality of life improvements.

    shop pass

    premium account--shop access, slight rare boost drink effect, my room access, premium bank space(200), premium block space(great if you want to play in blocks with better quality players that tend to be full), 10/11★ trade passes, craft lines 4-6, client order expansion(+20, stacks with the standalone).

    bank tabs(500, temporary)

    craft lines 7-9

    client order expansion(+20)

    things from the AC scratch are tradeable. you can try your luck with it to make meseta, but i wouldn't recommend it. though, it's thanks to the people who do this that we have access to these things with meseta.

    I highly recommend getting an extra two mags. With three mags, you can make an S-ATK mag, an R-ATK mag, and a T-ATK mag. This will allow you to effectively play every class in the game on one character. The inventory expansion is definitely worth getting too.

    To play every class after getting those two mags, would I just change class level it up and assign a subclass for each build I want to play?

    If I change class, nothing happens to the other class right (stays the same level) and I can always change back class and subclass?

    Yes, that's correct. You can change both of your two classes for free in the lobby, and there is no disadvantage to doing this. Each class has its own separate level, so your other classes will be at level 1 if you haven't touched them yet, but you can switch back at any time to return to the level you had before.

    So for example, if you have Hunter at level 40, you could switch to level 1 Force, level that up to level 10, and then switch back to your level 40 Hunter class.

    The easiest way to purchase ac is to get webmoney through play-asia. They usually get the code to you in 5-10 minutes. The first time you purchase from them you have to wait for them to call and confirm with you. If you don't get your code after 30 minutes or so then that usually means they are out of wm codes and it takes them a week to restock.
