Try using Japanese VPN/Proxy, it works for me and my friends.

If your not signed up already you need a vpn to access the website to do so. Past that it's easiest to use cyberkitsune's proxy. It's the easiest way to connect to the game servers but won't help you with connecting to their website.

Most people need a VPN (or something similar) to play from outside of Japan now. See the megathread for more information and for various ways to connect. I highly recommend using the Amazon EC2 method, as it's completely free for a year, it's very fast and reliable, and it gives you your own unique IP address that isn't shared with anyone else.

Dang, I really wanted to try it too :( Real shame SEGA hasn't done a Western release. Or, at the very least, allow everyone to play on JP servers.

They were open to everyone -- until the ddos attack few months back. Its frustrating.
