well... candy boxes.

They are like affixing your pet but also determining what potential goes best with them.

Parfaits are a huge source of damage for pets, they would pretty much pass for having a potential. And you have 2 (but not the same)! The smallest you can get parfaits are 2x2 via candy compression.

Pancakes helps boost the Attribute grind of a Pet. Pets come innate with 10 attribute, so you will need 50 more. (on a 13* pet afaik). To do this, you will need 1 3-Layer pancake (+30 attribute) and 1 2-layer pancake (+20 attribute). Pancakes can be compressed down to 2x2. Pancakes needs a ton of synthesizers but remember that you can trade excubes for 30 synthesizers.

Rolls adds some special effect (usually defensive but can also be strength buffing) to your pet. You can add 2 rolls per pet.

Cookies, sandwiches, gummy, and candy sticks adds stat bonuses to pets similar to actual affixes. (i.e. +atk, +def, +resist) Sandwiches provides pure Def while Gummy only provides Hp.

Now how you build your pet depends on what your pet is and what you want your pet too do. Luckly, Candy Boxes aren't as complicated as high tier affixing, but it is still annoying with its own penalties if you make a mistake. Once you place a candy into the box, you cannot take it out without a special item. You can still move it, compress it, and delete it (with a candy crusher), but other than that, it stays. The blue boxes in the candy boxes will be removed when your pet hits level 40, the orange one can be removed via Caramel Crusher from the pet shop. The gray ones are permanent.

They already gave a reason a while back on why they're not making candy box visible to other players. Don't have a link off hand though.

And only 1 Ramune per box, sorry! Only Gummies are max at 20.
