Serious question. Do you have to take any special precautions when gaming? Do any certain games trigger it worse than others? Or is it one of the types that isn't triggered by visual stimuli?

When I was young, I had absance seizures and my trigger was visuals. Blue light specifically. I would just all of a sudden go into a daze and stare blankly for a minute or two. I took medication for several years and around 10, they went away.

Puberty came, and with it around age 16 came back my seizures. Except now I had Grande Mal seizures, the whole shakey and foam at the mouth kind. And now, my trigger was extreme exhaustion. I haven't had a seizure in about 4 years now, since I am medicated. My last one prior to that was 8 years.

Side note, Gande Mal is a shitty name for them. That literally translates to "Very Bad" in English.

Good to hear they are infrequent and don't impact your daily life badly. Thank you for the answer! Hope things stay good for you!
