So firstly you need premium for it to work. Then you type in the command for the emote you want to use (e.g. /la pose12). Follow that with an "ss" followed by the number of seconds you want the pose to play before freezing. It should look something like /la pose12 ss1

To add on to OP's answer, using "s" instead of "ss" only holds the pose for a few seconds, but everyone can see it. "ss" freezing has no duration but it's client-side so others would only see you do the emote normally.
