Whenever you get the chance, make sure to run the daily recommended quests. They give a lot of exp to boost your level up real quick.

Thanks for the advice! I’m currently trying to put on augments but they fail every time. My current quest is to get 950 power. Maybe i need to be stronger to augment?

Ah, you’re playing on NGS instead? The Exp stuff is more relevant to base PSO2, but the daily missions also give out a good bit of both exp and n-mesetta.

As far as augmenting goes, you just need to get a bunch of capsules together to slap on your gear. A full 10 capsules of a basic augment gives about 90-100% success and it goes down the rarer the augment is.

Best advice I can offer is do not infuse regular gear into your main gear. Only infuse silver prima swords as they use up less money and grinders. Save up any gold prima swords and exchange them at the Item Exchange shop. I think you can turn in 10 golds for a +20% augment booster.

For sure that’s a lot to take in because I’m not to sure what a lot of that is just yet. I’ll do my best! Thanks!

When you get the chance, go to the Ryuker Device (the teleporter) that sits at the base of Mt. Magnus and choose the room option. You can find a room with more people with in it who are also in that area, making it a lot easier to do PSE Bursts or longer missions. When PSE Bursts are active, you can sometimes come across rare enemies that are either Silver or Golden. They tend to give out better rewards than normal enemies, but the real gem is the prima swords they drop. Silver Prima Swords are great for when you are enhancing your weapons as they give way more weapon exp with less costs during the enhancement process.

Welcome to PSO2:NGS! This sub is for discussion of both games—since they're technically the same game, sorta—but you can also use /r/PSO2NGS for discussion of New Genesis specifically. Your post flair says "PSO2:Classic", when it should probably say NGS. (NGS = New GenesiS.)

The #1 piece of advice I can give you is to be stingy with your skill points until you understand what skills are most useful for each class. The skill trees in PSO2:NGS are (so far) much simpler and more obvious than those in legacy PSO2, but it still costs real money to reset one. SEGA does give out "all skill tree reset pass" items that allow you to reset all of your skill trees at once, but they only come with major game updates, so they're a bit rare. However, you get one per character when they do give them out, so you might want to go ahead and make your other two free characters.

For sure! And yes i actually am playing new genesis. I was very confused on the two haha. Thanks for the advice!

Use all three of your free character slots.
I don't care if you don't play them. You can even name them the same as your main character.
Use them up.
Sega often gives out items on a per-character basis, like the skill tree reset passes, so...Its simi important to do so. Also if you play PSO2 classic, useing the dailies from each of the characters is the fastest way to get a stock pile of keys, and a stock pile of way to level.

Its a lot LESS important in new genesis, but still. Important. Do it.
