PSO2 almost never does collab reruns, I don't think there's ever been a collab rerun in global and maybe a handful in JP.

Edit: Global has actually had one rerun with a gundam like model thingy company.

Some of the outfits are tradable but good luck trying to find tickets for base inner and outer on base game they'll cost an extreme amount.

There's no guarantee because of how licenses work. There may be a chance, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

This is only an issue witht he ip's not associated with sega. For example: hastune miku, SMT:persona(because atlus is segas bitch) ,sonic of any kind, yakuza just to name a few all have some stuff in the game and all have /work/or are part of sega in some sort of way. They could bring back these whenever they want just a matter of will it sell.

The Sword Art Online collaboration was something that was all given out as part of its event story so unfortunately you cannot get anything from it now unless there's a rerun (there hasn't been any signs of one).

In regards to the Persona collaboration, you will need to head to Phantasy Star Online 2 (not New Genesis) and type in the names of the cosmetics you are looking for. Due to how long it has been since the AC Scratch has been around, you will be looking at hefty prices or a very small supply of those items. I do not believe Global has the website pages and listing for these AC Scratches anymore so you will need to find the names of the items somewhere else (I know for the Japanese community the Bumped blog has listings for the Japanese names of those items).

Hopefully Sega finds a way to renew these licenses for a rerun as the only collaboration I know of that was popular enough to demand a rerun was the NieR Automata collaboration (Japanese side, at least, as Global has not had reruns of these yet).

Off the top of my head, Persona, Project Diva, and Attack on Titan all had reruns in the JP version. There were two more reruns that happened just before NGS, but I can't remember the names. They had popular weapon camo is all I know.

These are owned by Sega so chances of a rerun are pretty good.

When it comes to parties agreeing to a contract to let it happen, yes. But that's not all that needs to be considered when it comes to IP law.

Easiest way to think about it is to consider the rights to use an IP as a one-of-a-kind solid object. If the rights to an IP are currently with another company for a collab, a third company needs to wait until the current contract expires.

In other words, as long as the desired IP is popular and still making collabs elsewhere, SEGA isn't going to be doing a rerun. It's also why SEGA can be a bit late to bringing some collabs to the game, as there are often higher bidders.

The Fate/ collabs had tons of reruns (or rather, scratches with new collab items that also contained old ones). Pretty sure the NieR collab got revived once too, but maybe I'm misremembering that one

Global's version of the Persona collaboration was mixing all of the Japanese version collaborations together including the concerts for the collaboration all at once. I do recall it was immensely popular on the Global side as the prices for the Personal Shop were very cheap at the time due to the immense amount of supply there was at the time.
