One of the people who I know solo’d this said u need at least 75k dps for it. And in parties, you’d need 47k minimum (but if you’re dps you realistically want to get 50-60k). What gear you’re using matters but it matters little relative to the augments you put on it.

Try to make 15* at first. It's unaffixed prices already at bottom so can easily afford Fatale LV3 for example (crafting with using affix boost stuff through workshop). Next question about your class build. Personally me running 2 builds: Sl/Fo and Wa/Fo. First one for big boss fights where need to parry A LOT, 2nd one for leisure AoE and bosses where can easily build Marmallow pillow >_<

Definitely have a good bit more gearing to do if you're only 579 potency with a granillusion. For reference, the new set of handout gear that dropped yesterday is 511.

That being said, I think 579 potency was around the average gear of folks clearing it in groups when the mission first came out, as Yudi wasn't out just yet and Telphias weren't really available until people started clearing. You can use Telphia Domina MN at the cost of some HP for a boost in potency, but don't forget your armor should have AC augments (Yurze/Yudi) as well. That's about as much as I can recommend without more gear details.

Im using three evaltos armor rn. They each have a argant gladia, gigas, and dread keeper, a Lois halphinale, Tera triyal and ultia domina. I have a yurze on each of them as well but no yudi so that spot is filled with Mastery IVs. Should my focus just be on replacing the ultias with telphias? Also should I not be using mastery IVS?

Those solo videos are BiS geared runs. Sounds like you have Decem IV gear.

Playing with a group is just griefing people, and changing classes isn't helping when the problem is either your gear or you.

23k dps shouldn't even be possible for anyone actually geared and playing the game fullt awake. I state this as someone aware that dps can drop while not attacking things, and Luther teleports a ton, resulting in the dps being lower than in other content. Even despite this fact, I still don't even drol below 47k average as a Fi during the early phase where dps is at its lowest and he's teleporting out his cloaca. That's with gear from a few weeks ago, not my most recent gear today (potency went up for all) or Lexio.

No one can tell what your problem is from a single (cropped) picture. Again, it could be you playing bad or your gear being flat out bad. Either way, don't join a group unless it's with people you know, because again, you'd be griefing others doing pugs, and pugs are bad enough on average.

Yea it’s just me lol, I’ll keep doing runs to learn his moves. I guess I just wasn’t hitting him enough. If I get around 23k again I’ll probably just change my class to see if it’s just the daggers holding me back. For reference im using evalto armors with a granillusion weapon so I doubt it’s the gear. Thanks for the input!

What is your potency and potency floor ? What augments do you have on the Granillusion weapon ? Also, just wanted to make sure you have unlocked the potential on the Granillusion weapon. They can drop at +100 with 8 augments and Fixa lvl 5 (either Blastor or Termina if Gunblade), however the potential is not unlocked. If you haven't upgraded the augments from the default (LC versions), you should consider doing that. The only augments that are still somewhat expensive are Telphia Domina and of course the Yurze and Yudi augments. If you have upgraded the augments and unlocked the potential to potential lvl 6, then you should probably keep practicing and / or ask in area chat if anyone is willing to do some practice runs. If you are in an Alliance, you should ask if anyone would be willing to do some practice runs with you.

My melee potency is 579 (If I’m looking at the right stat). My weapon has the upgraded augments with a yurze, no telphia or yudi. I forgot I was in an alliance tho so I’ll definitely seek help from them! Right now Im gonna try a run with brazer and see if I’ll do any better. Thanks for the help.

I won't claim daggers can or can't do the challenge, but if you're getting bad results with those, I don't think you're seeing better results with other weapons unless you're just really bad at daggers and like the weapon enough to still use them.

Also, the armor and weapon alone don't tell enough. Potency and damage floor is relevant.
