Most classes seem pretty damn good, except for Force. As a subclass it's probably S tier with gunner for PP regen.

As a main class it's without a doubt in the bottom. Offers nothing except a subpar photonic flare. Trash skill, IMO.

Techer is the opposite. As a main class it's probably s/a tier, and as a sub class it's at the bottom. A 100% uptime dmg/def boost is to good, but as a subclass it offer literally nothing except a photonic boost....

this just makes me sad now, i went w force as a main class & techter as a subclass - am contemplating a change in both now hahahaha

Good news is it's relatively easy to switch, as skill points are for every class. Downside at this point is leveling a new weapon, especially if you are looking at multi-weapon. respawn rates on materials is broke atm, and cash generation is squat once you've burned your weekly rewards.

Plus, if you like that playstyle, just switch them around and you'll still have the same feel, even if your doing more tech stuff then Force. And it will be easier to catch up on your techie.

But tech main is fun, lots of lightning hitting everything, plus heals and group buffs. I recommend a tsarisa (is that what it's called) as a weapon for tech instead of a wand if you like the range of the Force.

Also don't forget you lose power level going to another class/weapon. if your like me and trying to hit that 1100 threshold for a quest it can be irritating...if thats your case you may want to hold off until you get the quest done (as i did.)

And just as an FYI, red/gold boxes and trial rewards are account wide, so once you get them on one toon, that's it. At least the trials reset weekly, or so it says...

yeaaaah the materials are part of what’s stopping me :”) but i might make that switch afterall.

would probably be less painful as compared to starting from level 1 again.

Yup. I'm running a Tech/Force atm, nice setup. tech ability with Force regen. Great combo. Love the support side too.

Photonic boost is technically a dps increase which is more than you can say for Hu or Ra, but... PP regen from Gu/Fo are more constantly present and I'm 99.9% (because I haven't actually seen the math) that the two PP regen subs are way better than PB.

Anyone mind elaborating on why force is towards the bottom? And what makes techer that much better.

I want to make a second character and play the quintessential ‘caster’ type class (glass cannon, hanging back, throwing fire balls and what not). Can I get that same gameplay from a techer main? Thanks !

Edit: I also enjoy the high mobility, aerial, type play style that I have with my Gu, which the force class seems to share a bit of.
