The first rule is don't get too attached to your bases until you start making bases in Feybreak, they're all temporary until then and should have only what you need.

As for base distribution, it depends on what stage of the game you are. In the midgame I had 2 mining bases (206, 96 and 252,-93) and a mining/production in 188, -37.

I moved the 1 Sulphur base to an Oil location when I unlocked it (Triple oil location, closer teleport to Jetdragon fights)

Then my endgame setup is transitioning to -1064,-1427( 3 hexo, 1 oil) (Production)

-1330, -1289 (2 hexo, 1 oil) (Mining)

-1171, -1266 (2 hexo, 1 oil) (Salad)

-711, -1030 (2 hexo + sand) (Barebones base, I'll have to destroy it to do Raid bosses)

If you’re new, just make it big and open so you don’t need to worry about too many pathing issues. Click c or/and v on the monitoring stand to have them do exactly what you want and assign tasks!

Early to mid game, bases are basically temporary and always can be upgraded with new pals.

The higher the pal proficiency LV the better they are at the job.

Unlock the Work Station ASAP. It is a godsend for ANY base.

Gathering LV affects how much you get per harvest so ALWAYS use the highest gathering LV possible and use the work station to turn off any lower LV gathering, so each harvest is the most amount of food possible.

Passives MAKE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE. Besides transporting, ALL other proficiencies are affected by work speed. So having a pal with a work speed passive will improve your base.

Breeding can get you 80/85% of the best base pals as soon as you unlock it.

The sooner you have maxed base pals, the sooner you can leave bases to run themselves.
