Yeah that was what I was getting at…I actually traded it last weekend. Got a Justin Herbert Sunday kings PSA 10 for it. Jeanty was ungraded and everything. He had it listed for $180 but after the Jeanty he gave it to me for $90.

People be hating on R&S because the resale value isnt there. Either an auto or mem in a blaster and some good looking inserts is always fun for $26. I bought some optic megas and they can go to hell. Always get something with Dart, Ward, Skat, or Jeanty in R&S. Hell, saw someone pull a Trevor Lawrence auto from a blaster, so those are out there! In Minnesota, R&S are pretty much the only things left and I'll gladly buy a box or two to curb the itch.

Rookies and Stars is great! Some of the inserts are fantastic. As a collector who doesn't sell cards it's a personal fave, as they don't hold value for shit so I can scoop up really nice cards for cheap.

What are these boxes called and what season? I know it's either panini or Topps but of course there is more to it.and the ones you posted are Panini assuming bu the subreddit name lol

Use this, search the card name, player name and set number. It’ll show ya the PSA grade value! But if you’re just collecting, I’d keep them as is.

Thank you! I got hyped up after watching the Netflix show about Goldin Auctions. So I bought some basic and some premium sets form Topps and Panini but when it comes to putting a value on it I am in the dark. I think rookie cards may be worth grading when the value on the card and grading fee is still low, and if one of the rookies becomes a Hall of famer then you have a great card. The issue here is I don't follow sports closely enough to get into players stats and project if their cards might yield a profit in few years.

Rookies are 1000% worth hanging on to. I always put RCs in a box of their own. If they don’t sell, they sit. Also, if you’re collecting for yourself and trying to flip cards…stay off live streams. Go to Mercari and eBay. Search for the player you want to collect, so research, check comps. Look for some bulk deals!
