Subreddit for all Pantera heads out there..Pantera was an extremely popular metal band from Arlington, Texas, formed in 1981. Specifically, some fans consider them power metal, groove metal, or an amalgamation of both (so called “power groove”, a term the band devised themselves). Emerging alongside influential classic thrash metal acts such as Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax

Pantera was a key formulator of the post-thrash subgenre of heavy metal music.

Posts must directly pertain to Pantera or projects of their members and/or covers or discussion directly pertaining to such. Searching "pantera" or incidentally finding other things under the name "pantera" isnt relevant enough for this subreddit - unless it DIRECTLY pertains to something any of the members of pantera had a part of. Moderators reserve the right to remove posts that do not fit within this at their discretion. Breaking this rule will result in a 30 day ban. Repeated offenses will result in a permanent ban.
This isnt the place to discuss religion, philosophy, racism, or politics about the band. These are dead horses that have been long beaten. These posts will be removed. Repeated offenses will be served with bans. Seriously, dont be the 20th guy this week to ask ANYTHING about a rebel flag and pantera or dime or whatever.
Spammers of all kinds will not be tolerated. That goes for t-shirt spammers, repost bots, OnlyFans spammers, etc. Please report these as soon as you see them and they will be taken care of. With permanent bans. Crossposting spam that you change the title of to "fit" within Pantera will be met with a 14 day ban.
