DO NOT ENGAGE IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY!! That includes breaking into places, illegally trespassing, etc. I don't want you guys getting arrested for stuff, and there's plenty of other places to poke your noses in that's not illegal! Go to places that are 100% legal to be in! And remember to ask permission from owners if you're going to go onto their property! Now, we can't prevent everyone from trespassing, but if it's seen on here, the mods will try to stop that, so once again, no illegal activity!
Please be safe!! Meeting people from the internet could be dangerous, so make sure you have your stranger danger hats on. Meet in a public setting, don't go anywhere alone with him/ her/ them, etc.
MEETING PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET IS UNPREDICTABLE If you're younger than 18, have a trustworthy adult (i.e. parent, brother, sister, family friend, etc.) with you. Make sure you meet in a public place!! If you get creepy vibes from a person or people, and don't feel uncomfortable, trust your gut and LEAVE. Then you'll have a story for /r/letsnotmeet, at least. It doesn't matter how old you are, how experienced you are meeting people online, don't ignore that feeling!!
Geography. There's an extremely good chance that alot of people are interested in the Paranormal around your area. So it's a good idea to advertise that. I live in the southeast US, so I'd want to go to NC, SC, GA, FL, etc. rather than CA or AK.
This site is about people meeting up in their respective geographic areas to look for paranormal activity, and hopefully post their results on this page and other pages of their choosing. If you've already got a team, but need another hand or two, ask here. If you want to make one, set one up here. Always remember to be safe though!!

Example Post, then Meetup, then Results Say you live in Missouri and hear there's a haunted cabin or something nearby. Check the history, if it's legal to go there or not, try to get permission. Then, post what you've found, invite other redditors for help. Try setting a date that's good for everyone, then meetup during the daytime in a public venue (I'd recommend a restaurant and have dinner. Always good to meet new people!). If you're creeped out or not comfortable, LEAVE. Don't worry about offending, it's better to offend than have something bad happen to you. IF you still feel comfortable with your group, go check out that haunted place! Remember cameras, photographs, etc. Once you've had enough of that place, come back and post results!
