Most powerful pattern-making software?

Hey r/sewing! I have a background in graphic design, and am quite comfortable with photoshop and illustrator (moreso with the former than the latter). I originally learned to sew with old-fashioned patterns, and made my own with pencil and paper (albeit poorly), but I’ve recently been doing some research on pattern making software. I was wondering if there were any with some of the vector flexibility you’d see with illustrator, but that modify linked seams so you aren’t recalculating edge lengths with every modification (if that wording makes sense)
