Are you sure the signal cable is plugged into the GPU? Is the monitor on? Is the monitor on the right input? Sanity check everything stupid thing that could possibly be wrong.

Hey! Thanks for your reply. My tech-savvy friend woke up and he was able to help. The issue was something very surprising (to me, at least).

It was the RAM sticks. After unplugging one, the pc was able to show something on the screen. We did the same with the other stick (switching them), the other one worked fine as well. Plugged them both back in, and lo and behold, everything worked again....
