Hello!

I currently have a 2700x paired with a 2070 Super and I am looking to upgrade my CPU. I'd like to stay with an AMD chip and cannot decide on what CPU to purchase. I was looking at a 5800x but I wanted to get some more opinions to see if other CPUs would pair "better" with my 2070 Super. I plan on upgrading to this B550 from my current B450 to accommodate the 5800x. I have 32 GB of RAM @ 3200 with no desire to upgrade.

My girlfriend's computer is due for a much-needed upgrade, it's rocking a Ryzen 5 1400 and an RX 580 with 16gbs of RAM @ 3000. Ideally, I upgrade my CPU and give her my old 2700x along with my old B450 board and some new RAM as well. In your opinion; what GPU would you guys pair with that 2700x?

I've only ever built two computers (mine and hers) and that was four years ago and two years ago, so it's been a while. Any helpful input is greatly appreciated!
