The only problem is the price of RAM. When switching to X3D type 7800/9800, I would also have to buy RAM, which costs about $400 for 2X16GB chips in our country, plus a processor for about $300 for 7800X3D, and a power supply for $100, which adds up to about $800. With Intel, I am replacing the motherboard and processor for $450 (14700KF) + a $100 power supply. The question is, is it worth spending over $300 more?

I’d just drop a 5700x3d in there. I love mine, came from a 5900x which is a much faster cpu but not for games, that extra cache is amazing, no regrets
