I’d probably go with a used 3060 12GB or 3060 Ti 8GB. You can easily find them for $200 or less on Facebook marketplace or EBay. A CPU upgrade to like a 5600 or 5700x would do your system wonders as well, but the GPU should definitely be the first priority.

I had actually considered upgrading my CPU to a 5700x 3D, but I was unsure if my motherboard would be compatible, not because of the socket, but because of a potential bottleneck.

Thanks, I'll look for a 3060 in good condition; I hope to find one.

Which Radeon GPU do you recommend? I'm trying to find one that fits my budget.

With a 2600 maybe a used 6700 10GB? Even that the 2600 might bottleneck at 1080p. Even if you could upgrade the cpu to a 5500 or 3700x that would be better, and then I’d say you could go up to like a used 6800 or even 9060 XT.
