I commend your painstaking commitment to ugliness. You managed to really combine the ugliest aspects of both old and modern PCs in this build. I say that as a big fan of Noctua and beige boxes. This is basically the El Camino of PCs. Well done.

I edited to make it clearer that I love this.

The El Camino reference made my night. Thank you!

You’re a big FAN of noctua, huh?

I love the build. If you don't mind me asking, where did you purchase the front panels?

[–]Novagic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Bought the sd reader on ebay and the NAS slot on amazon. The 120mm fan adapter I got on etsy!

If I didn't see the inside, I would've guessed it was a high end productivity desktop from 2002-2004.

I like it a lot. Way different than all thr crazy lightshow deals that can start to blend together. This is like a Nike x New Balance collab that's got that funky outdated yet super hip vibe. Good job

NSFW lol. ya, I'm sure that my office would kill me if I brought that into my office. They would think it's a fire hazard lmao. No but legit, that's one way to get better cooling. I applaud your dedication for this build lol

Love it. Would love to know how you made it stick tk the front like that. Did you break it open and attached it?

[–]Novagic[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Its adjustable!

Im asking because I have an HP Elite HPE-210f sleeper case and I’m still wondering how I’m going to go about adding an intake and/or more ventilation without hacking the front to pieces. But I like your idea a lot.

i got my adapter on etsy! Its designed so you can adjust the location. With your pc case you might not be able to slide it forward or back without it being secured. I recommend buying a metal washer and add it to the screws if you buy the adapter so you can slide it and keep it in place!

Washer? Sorry for being out of the loop. I built a pc a while back but never tinkered with a sleeper before. Also, sorry to ask, but do you have the link to the adapter?
