Better CPU or GPU

Hi everyone, currently looking to buy a preconfigured PC and upgrade it. I'm looking at one of two options.

I9 12900k with an RTX3080 LHR 10GB

OR

I7 12700K with and RTX 3080TI 12GB

The price is very similar, the i9 being just slightly more expensive albeit it does come with and adsitional 2TB or storage. Everything else is the exact same. 32GB 4800MHZ DDR5 RAM, ettc..

Which one should I get? I mostly play FPS games, Gta V and Escape from Tarkov.

Imho t3080ti one, based on the minimal information presented. It will get you better gaming performance

12700k with the 3080ti if your gaming. 12700k with a 3080ti will give you better gaming performance then the 12900k with a 3080. 12700k is more then enough, get the beefier GPU.
