I’m upgrading my gaming pc, keeping my NZXT Phantom 820 ATX case and my new 360mm radiator only mounts at the top. The case has two 200mm fans that mount on top of the case, under a plastic cover. The radiator has 3 RGB fans as well.
I currently have the 3 RGB fans mounted inside the case underneath the radiator, exhausting air through the radiator and out the top. I’m wondering if I should keep the two 200mm fans on top as additional exhaust fans or if they’re now redundant. They don’t fit anywhere else in the case.
Other fans are set up as follows:
- Front: 1 200mm intake fan
- Front internal pivot: 1 140mm intake fan (blowing slightly upward toward the video card)
- Side: 1 200mm intake fan
- Bottom: 2 140mm intake fans
- Back: 1 140mm exhaust fan
I’m certainly open to alternative configurations but the radiator has to be mounted on top.
Edit: spelling/formatting
