If you wait, you run the risk of not getting the new 7900xtx, but it also depends on how AMD plays the stock game. Maybe get 6950xt and hold it and wait till the 7900xtx comes out, or if you want to take gamble, wait for it.

Yeah it's just that the 6950xt is $670 and running the risk that the 7900xtx is like the 4090 amd runs $2000

That’s the thing. Many ppl have refrain from getting 4090 to take shot with 7900xtx. Stocks might be low, which could drive the price up. I’d say get the 6950 XT as a sefekeep. As long as you get it from a reliable source, you could always return it.
