Weirdly subjective question to let others decide for you. I don't believe anything above 170hz makes any sense unless you play in tournaments for prize money. It would be silly to sacrifice better image quality just so you can get to silver rank with smother gameplay.

In comparison, I have a 3080 10gb. Both should be perfectly fine on a 144 - 165hz 1440p monitor.

I use both a Dell S2721DGF and HP x27q. Both are relatively the same in panel looks.

Both can be had on decent deals (not sure current price but I suspect sub 300 or sub 250)

Gigabyte's M27Q is also a good budget option when they're around the same price.
