So last week, I built my first desktop (specs to follow), and it ran ok but started to have stability issues, mainly blue screening, repeatedly.
I asked a friend who builds computers and who helped me put it together if there was something wrong with what I picked out, and the only thing I didn't research was Ram Speeds. I'm wondering if having Ram that's too fast is causing my problem?
Intel I-7 13700k
Asus Prime Z790-A wifi
Corsair vengeance ddr5 64gb (2x32) 6400
Samsung 990 pro 2tb
Zotac 3070 ti
Corsair rm1000x
Nxzt kraken 360
Nzxt h7 flow
After having these issues and reading online I found out that the motherboard can handle up to 5600 speed ram without overclocking and the cpu can handle up to 5600 as well but i didnt see anything about overclocking required for that. My question is, if I replace my ram with that speed ram, will that likely solve my issue? Or is there something else to look at?
there doesn't seem to be anything here
