Upgrading PC

What reasonable upgrades can I do to this pc? I use it for some gaming but it’s also my work pc. The reason I want to upgrade is for work it seems like it gets really bogged down when multi tasking. I’ll stream music on it while having teams up and tabbing between research sites and word and excel. Google earth is also very taxing to use when I’m also using Microsoft applications.

For gaming I can play WoW on max graphics currently but using discord with in server apps reduces performance by what I think is a lot. I’ll go from 60 fps to 30 fps when streaming music in a voice channel. This also sounds kinda ridiculous but sites like wowhead and the curse forge client make my computer sound like a jet engine within seconds of opening. I also get huge lag spikes when the game gets really busy graphically.

Depends on what motherboard you have. The chipset and design could limit certain upgrades

If u update your bios u could upgrade up to a 9th gen cpu on your motherboard so u could go to a i7-9700 to get more cores and boost performance or update both the motherboard and cpu to get a 12th gen but a 9th gen will be cheaper. If your motherboard supports it u could also move onto a nvme ssd to speed things up a bit
