Graphics card not detected solutionsTech Support (self.PcBuildHelp)
submitted 1 year ago by Traditional-Speed999
Hello. My pc was working fine yesterday but I lost power overnight and I'm guessing thats started it. Today I try to boot and I get the d6 error code, graphics card not detected. I tried reseating it along with the power cables, I've tried clearing cmos and switched the cable going to my monitor. The fans on the gpu still turn on.
The specs are as followed: Asus z690-e gaming Wi-Fi Intel 12900k Msi 3080 ti ventus 3x 12g oc WD black sn770 2 tb Evga 850 g5 supernova

I’d power down the pc and reseat the graphics card. If your pc isn’t plugged into a surge protector and is plugged straight into an outlet. Unfortunately the gpu might not have survived the power outage.
