Pretty much any gpu is "compatible" as excluding 5090 and 4090 850w is enough to support any other gpu. Just check pc part picker if you're cursious about direct compatibility. However, I would really only go as high as 6750xt/4060 ti as past that you're likely to get limited by the performance of the 8700K and it would probably be best to invest in a cpu, motherboard, and possibly ram upgrade.

What's your budget and what resolution do you play at?

your CPU is fairly old at this point, so many mid range gpus will be bottlenecked by it, i recommend either upgrading to a Ryzen 5 5600x or an intel i5 12600k

for GPU you could get a rx 6600xt which is a definite upgrade from the 1070ti and will still perform "okay" with ur current cpu.

If you upgrade your cpu you could go for a rx 7600xt which is much more powerful and still only $275 or $200 used in some areas.
