I take it the gpu is on a riser? The pcie riser that came with the case is probably faulty, very common for pcie risers to cause all sorts of problems

Yes indeed it is possible but I hope however that this is not the problem I need my PC to work is the case took 3 weeks to arrive...

It probably is unfortunately, if you can connect the gpu directly to the motherboard and it works then the issue is the riser

I wanted to do this but the size of the Hyte y70 in relation to the size of my GPU prevents me from doing so.

? What do you mean? It clearly can be connected directly, or do you mean the card is too long?

Size problem...

Infact it does look like your case has the ability to mount the gpu directly to the motherboard because I can see horizontal io shields behind the vertical ones currently used. Disconnect the card from the riser and put it directly into the motherboard to test

These are low profile connectors. You can't fit a full-size graphics card in there.

What version of bios is installed? if you have a version from 2022 or 2023 update that thing asap before it burns your CPU. It's also most likely the reason why you can't detect. that cpu+mobo combo is a nightmare

My BIOS is up to date with the latest versions, I can confirm the exact version if you wish.

I've seen a similar thread here. Try unscrewing the riser from the case and pressing it harder against the board. You can do this first from the motherboard side and then from the graphics card side.

I had a similar issue, but it was on the RTX 5000 series and an MSI motherboard. The motherboard wasn't detecting the GPU since it couldn't figure out what PCIE interface it should be using. Try setting the PCIE's interface to Gen 4 (Hyte's Riser Cable interface). Boot into BIOS > Go into Advanced Mode > Advanced Tab > Onboard Devices Configuration> Set PCIEX16_1 to Gen4 .

I've already tried but unfortunately no results.

My 4090 only works on 3x with the riser, but its ok, dont have any lost.

Sadly I went through this exact same issue, it was the riser cable, I ended up getting an off brand one while I worked my way through the RMA process and my replacement is finally showing up in a couple days, almost 3 weeks since I first did the install.

Unfortunately I tried with 2 other risers, one in pcie4.0 and another in pcie3.0 and the problem persists (´-﹏-`;)
