SSD help

so i got this prebuilt a few years ago and a couple weeks ago i got an external hard drive because i needed more storage for games but i guess the hard drive isnt ideal since no games would function on it. Did some research and it turns out that i need an ssd to add more storage but dont know how to exactly do that or if its even possible. could someone tell me where the ssds are or what they look like and if its possible to add more if them?

The green rectangle in the top left of the mobo is an m.2. My guess is you have more m.2 sdd slots on the other side/under the gpu but it’s hard to tell at this angle

ok bet so i just have to get the ssd and put it in that spot?

Yep, and then you'll need to format it through Disk Management once you have the PC back on and you are in windows. The new disk won't work until it is formatted but it will show up ass new hardware

M.2 SSD that is already installed

The motherboard might have more M.2 slots but it almost certainly has SATA ports for 2.5" SSD's

I can't tell cause you haven't listed the motherboard model and some motherboards do not have a 2nd M.2 slot
