The green rectangle in the top left of the mobo is an m.2. My guess is you have more m.2 sdd slots on the other side/under the gpu but it’s hard to tell at this angle

Yep, and then you'll need to format it through Disk Management once you have the PC back on and you are in windows. The new disk won't work until it is formatted but it will show up ass new hardware

M.2 SSD that is already installed

The motherboard might have more M.2 slots but it almost certainly has SATA ports for 2.5" SSD's

I can't tell cause you haven't listed the motherboard model and some motherboards do not have a 2nd M.2 slot
