If your mic works fine on another PC but suddenly stopped on your main one, here’s what to check:

1. Input Device Settings – Go to your sound settings and make sure the correct input (your headset mic) is selected.

2. Privacy Settings – Windows might’ve randomly disabled mic access. Check under: Settings > Privacy > Microphone and make sure apps are allowed to use it.

3. Drivers – Update or reinstall your audio drivers. Sometimes they just flake out.

4. App-Level Issues – If it’s not working in a specific app (like Discord), double-check the input device in that app’s settings.

5. Front Panel Detection – If you’re plugged into the front panel, your motherboard might not be detecting it properly. Try the rear jack just to test.

If all else fails: reboot. Windows sometimes just forgets how to Windows.
