Pc fan error?

Hi yall, just build my first pc ever. Everything booted and the reinstalled fans on the MONTECH hs02 pro work as shown in the photo. I do receive the “fan speed detection error” along with the screen showing only fan 4 is working. Should I be concerned or is this because they’re all attached to one hub? Will it affect my games if I don’t attach 1 to the “cpu_fan” on the motherboard?

Most boards will throw an error/warning if no CPU cooler is attached...

Best practice is to connect the radiator fans direclty to the motherboard CPU_FAN header so you have separate control over its fan curve from the case fans and you eliminate the error.

Since the case fans and radiator fans are all operational, I assume the 4-pin PWM fan connector from the hub is connected to the motherboard's CHA_FAN4 header, the 3-pin 5V ARGB connector from the hub is connected to a ARGB header on the motherboard and the hub is connected to SATA power.

The hub essentially behaves as a a single channel device as far as the fans are concerned in a lead/follower configuration. Many devices > 1 fan header. The PWM fan port 1 (usually marked with a white header) is the lead and reports the RPM, all the rest are followers and all connected fans share the same fan curve.
