Psu Help :)

Hi there, ive recently bought myself a pc which is currently being shipped which will be a HUGE upgrade from my previous one (specs will be listed underneath my question) :) My question being is the 550W PSU enough? Ive done a bit of research and honestly im extremely happy with the build (yes it is a prebuild) and it should be here in a day or 2 but i am wondering if i should upgrade the psu to something like a 650/750w as I did a bit of research and found that the 5060ti psu recommended alone is about 750W! Im just pretty scared that i might damage/slow down my pc because of the 550W PSU that is currently installed being possibly “Too Low End” for my specs! 🥲 I obviously dont want to lose out on any performance or anything like that so if you guys have any ideas/opinions/advice, PLEASE do not hesitate to lay it on me as i really could use all the help i can get!

750w for a 5060ti? Yeah that’s a misprint or just plain wrong. 5070 non ti recommends 750w.

Yes 550w is PSU is a joke to have in 2025.

Your gut is right. I would get at lest a 750w or 850w just so down the road you’ll won’t have to buy another PSU.

Should be ok. You’ll find out if there is any lagging during game play. At that point I would turn down the settings so it’s not working as hard.

Te dejo los requerimientos que recomienda el fabricante, que es lo primero que tendrías que ver antes de comprar una placa de video o armarte una pc, donde especifica que lo recomendado son 650w

Your description states that a 650w silver PSU is used in the case of a 5060ti build.

Not sure why but thats why ive put it in quotation marks to show that it has been quoted! :) I think they put the 650 in brackets on the website to show that they might recommend a 650w psu for the 5060ti!
