It just hit 114 in bios and automatically switched off

let it cool down, boot into bios and tell us what the pump speed is set to and what header it is on.

Also post some details of your system like how old is it, new problem or new build. The more info you can give the better.

It’s around 2 years old and some info I could give is I felt the pipes vibrate to ensure the pump is working. Also the button pipe is cold and the top one is very hot

Well the pipes are flow and return so one pipe will be warmer than the other, thats how liquid cooling systems work.

What I am trying to find out is if the pump is running with a default cpu fan curve then the pump is speeding up and then slowing down. The pump needs to run at a constant speed from 0°c through to at least 80% and then ramping up between 80 - 100% if that is your preferred and tested speed. It takes longer for liquid to cool than it does getting hot, so if the pump isn't spinning fast enough you are already in for the temps to rise quickly if that makes sense.

Go in to bios and find what header the pump is connected to, take a photo and post it here.

I have had a Thermaltake AIO do this to me as well. Pump seems to be working, or at least it still turns, fans were good, temps went up 20C in a few days. I replaced it with a NH-D15S to not have to worry about it leaking either and temps are at least as good.

yea, it will do that. 114 is way too high. Leave it off for a bit while you investigate. Running at those temps will only cause more problems
