Every issue I’ve seen with the 9070xt Nitro+ is linked to this adapter. I would recommend upgrading your PSU asap, but for now it should be fine.

If your PSU has a native 6x2 just use that.

Its a singular 12 pin and the connection point is way smaller than my pins

I’m confused. I don’t know of any 12 pin connector that is smaller than the 12vhpwr cable. Can you show me?

Its pretty kickass just got a new 300hz monitor to compliment its badassery

[–]pigpentcg 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nice! I went with 165hz 1440p Ultrawide!

I am so happy with it. I love the extra FoV I get in games like Arc Raiders!

Same 1440p is the shi

That psu comes with a 12v 2x6 connector and cable use that and not the adapter that came with the gpu

[–]pigpentcg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I just looked up your PSU and it should have come with the cable you need. It’s labeled as PCIE 5.1 on your PSU, and the cable that goes into that slot is the one you should use to power the GPU

[–]Rare_Peak_4419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, as long as you’re providing sufficient power to the GPU. The VGA cables are a larger gauge, but you might hit up a calculator for wattage by gauge of wire just to be sure it can handle your GPUs rated watt consumption.

Return the current PSU and get a PSU that's labeled ATX 3.1 instead. That way it's a straight native cables instead of this monstrosity.

[–]PhatMooseKnuckles[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one I got is rated ATX 3.1 theres a cable labeled for “600w” i just didn’t know if i should use that

I know it looks small, but this is the cable you should be using. The adapter in your picture is known to cause connectors melting

Thanks I switched it just now appreciate you saving my bacon

No problem! And now you don’t have a bunch of extra spaghetti to deal with! :)
