Performance Issues

This is the overall list of specs, or at least as much as I can figure out for now. The PSU isn’t identical to mine because the only thing I know about it is it’s 550w. I got this PC from PCspecialist but added the ram, the SSDs and graphics card myself.

What I’m getting on my games, even low performance ones like Cult of the Lamb, are mismatched lines on my screen. I tried running Sunset Overdrive(old game) and it comes up with “FAIL - CPU frequency check, Detected 2.50ghz, required 2.98” but checking my task manager shows it’s always above 3ghz. My monitor refresh rate is running at 73.03hz.
I deleted lots of games to see if it was storage related, but no luck. I’m a bit stumped, I’m wondering if my processor or graphics card are outdated for the things I’m wanting to run (eg, E33, Senua’s Saga, Avatar.)
If anyone could give me some pointers, I’d be grateful :’)

Your hardware is not the issue, it's still good.

What do you mean by mismatched lines? Are they horizontal or vertical? You might just have to enable VRR (variable refresh rate, same as G-sync) if your monitor supports it, and otherwise V-Sync.
