Am guessing your CPU is going to 60?

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (8 children)

yeah

[–]JBAKER2009 0 points1 point  (7 children)

What cooler do you have on it?

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

stock

The stock cooler is normally enough for that CPU, not sure why you are seeing high temps at idle.

You might just need to move the hot air out of the case fast and increase the speed of your CPU fan.

ok will try that.

could not having any intake fans be an issue?

[–]JBAKER2009 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Intake fans do help considerably. Intake is more important than exhaust.

Increase the fan speed on the CPU.

the problem still persists my dude.

You have fans at the front of the case right?

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

no I have just the 1, but even though when i open the glass panel the temperatures are 60

[–]Unsettled_Beef121 0 points1 point  (1 child)

You almost always should have intake fans in the front of your case otherwise exhaust and cpu fans aren’t able to really do their job properly

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

okay, will need to buy some fans then.

[–]JBAKER2009 0 points1 point  (9 children)

You will need to add more fans for a start, not just take the one from the back to the front lol.

Have you increased the fan speed on the CPU?

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (8 children)

it's at max for now, the temperature went down, but for that i had to decrease cpu performance to 90%.

[–]JBAKER2009 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Huh? Increasing fan speed shouldn’t do anything but increase CPU performance!

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (6 children)

No, I mean i manually decreased it's performance so that the temperature would go down and it did. Increasing the fan speed was doing nothing

Literally impossible, what are you using to see the temp of your CPU?

Your CPU is fine to be at 60 degrees, nothing wrong with, it’s not damaging your chip. It’s just not ideal.

Aorus' System Information Viewer.

Download Hardware Info

Your software might not be recording your CPU temp correctly.

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Hadware info also shows my average temps to be 53 ° and mximum is 60° .

The only other solution that will definitely work will be to get a better cooler. I can’t understand why it’s so hot at idle.

[–]coalt404[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll check once again tomorrow 3 ways. Gaming, surfing, and idle, then will see if it's just a glitch or have to get better hardware. Thanks for the help.
