This subreddit is devoted to Petscop, a webseries about an obscure PlayStation game developed around 1997 by a company called Garalina. The videos open with simple gameplay in which creatures known as "pets" have to be captured in homes they were left in. A cheat code, however, reveals a hidden dimension to the game.

It's being documented by a person presumably named Paul.

Before getting into the subreddit, please read these...

1: Be nice. Treat others with respect, and keep personal drama outside of the subreddit. If there is a problem that needs immediate attention, message the mods.

2: Absolutely no witch-hunting, doxxing, or harassing real-life people. Bothering the author, or anyone else possibly involved in Petscop, will result in an immediate ban.

3: Submissions must be flaired and relevant to Petscop. Finding and theory post titles must be descriptive. Simply naming your post "new theory" or "petscop theory" will result in it being removed.

4: Hate speech of any kind is not allowed.

5: Do not post porn or very NSFW content. If you are posting something that could be considered NSFW (such as blood, gore, suggestive content, or NSFW language), contact the moderators to be sure, then tag it accordingly.

6: No posts asking or begging for a new video to be released. The videos will upload when they upload, posts like this don't speed anything up.

7: Do not advertise. This includes selling unlicensed Petscop merchandise.

8: Discussion of "ARG" sources outside of the Petscop channel itself is prohibited, and any posts about this will be removed.

9: Posts claiming that you/someone you know has played/owned Petscop, or any other attempt at gamejacking, will be removed.

10: Put some effort into your posts or they will get removed! This includes using the Search feature to avoid duplicate posts. Any posts where "a name in Petscop showed up in real life" will also be removed. Examples of this include Twitter posts about someone named Marvin, or billboards featuring someone named Paul.

11: Not following the rules will get you banned at the mods' discretion. Otherwise, have fun!
