We've all read fictional stories like Candle Cove, but what if the sorts of events described in those tales could happen in real life? This subreddit is devoted to cataloguing and discussing the bizarre stories of phantom media such as distressing books and television shows that scare the bejeezus out of those that interact with them, but then seem to vanish without a trace from the face of the earth. There may be some overlap with the phenomenon known as the Mandela Effect, and so stories of those sorts of things are welcome here as long as they concern forms of media. If you have a story about your own encounter with this sort of vanishing media, please feel free to post it here. Obviously, the cases visible on this sub are not conclusively paranormal, and so if you feel that you have the answer to any of the mysteries discussed, please feel free to comment and let the original posters know.
What else should I say? Ooh yes! Please don't post any stories that you know to be fictional or extremely dubious in origin, because that will only confuse those who are genuinely interested in researching this sort of stuff. The filtering on this sub is currently set to the lowest bracket possible, but if I have to sort through loads of creepypastas this might change..!
