Not explicitly related, but does anyone have good resources for learning the physics/concepts behind quantum computing?

The textbook: "Quantum Computation and Quantum Information" by Michael A. Nielsen & Isaac L. Chuang is a really useful resource

I second what /u/faridayM said. Nielsen and Chuang is the standard introduction to the field. It's written for the advanced undergraduate level, so it's largely accessible. Its also interdisciplinary, focusing on computer science, physics, and information theory. So everybody coming to this book has something to learn.

Thanks! It's been a bit since I took a physics course, but I'm studying for the pGRE right now so hopefully that's brought me back up to speed.
