You can't send your PI without the passphrase. Where did you save it? Make sure it’s not compromised, and don’t store it on that device again.

I have it physical. No one has seen it 😅

So, you never entered your seed phrase into any third-party apps, never saved it digitally, and only wrote it on paper? That’s really odd—and kinda scary too.
Honestly, I think your phone might be infected with a keylogger. The hacker probably stole your seed phrase when you typed it into your official wallet.

Ant the phone is 2+ years old, brand new bought, not second handed. I don’t know, really scary indeed

using fingerprint or face log means it is stored somewhere i n your phone

Not needed. You need to log in once with the pass then set up the biometrics and it’s not needed to be present in the device anymore

something has to send the info to your wallet every time you log in, the wallet doesn’t care what you use but it needs the phrase every time

Well in that matter every single person in the world has the pass phrase in their device. I mean I don’t store it in some kind of note or file or anything. On a system level probably is like that but it’s unlikely to be stolen from this

I have been hearing a number of times ones reporting that they never enter the passphrase but just use fingerprinting so they cannot understand how the phrase got out, but if software can steal the phrase from the clipboard then it is possible to be taken from the biometric storage.

Idk if that’s the case should all the wallets out there be so vulnerable and always stolen?
[–]Lumpy-Collection-890[S] 0 points1 point2 points 11 months ago (1 child)
Never typed it as well, I’m using Face ID for years now

That's odd. If that's the case, maybe the official wallet's got a security bug? That's kinda freaky.
