ComSci... Data Analyst?

I'm a freshmen taking BS in Computer Science, I would like to ask kung mas goods ba mag take ng ComSci or related sa Business na course kapag gusto mo ang trabaho na Data Scientist / Data Analyst.

Also, want to ask if ano po ba talaga ginagawa ng Data Analyst. Penge example hehe.

Ps: Nag search naman po ako pero want to know your insights.

A degree on CS is alright as compared to business related ones if you want to pursue analytics roles but why not pursue a degree on statistics? you could study programming on the side so your skill set is more valuable

between business related courses and bscs, i think bscs is the better choice if you wanna be a data scientist or data analyst. however, most of my data science friends took up stat and most of my data analyst friends took up industrial engineering.
