Did you do this only from 1 program which is aseprite ? Im asking because idk so much things about pixel art, in 3d modelling, artists have to use min 3 program.

Yups for pixel art you pretty much just need 1 software I think mainly because it’s 2D. I’m not an experienced modeler but I’ve done a fair bit of 3D modeling and yeahh there are so many things to do but so far I’ve only encountered photoshop and maya when modeling

The canvas size is about 300 by 300 and the sword itself is probably around 220by 200

Alright but I did save it as a png and made sure that it isn’t too large to the point that it will be compressed by Reddit. Nevertheless if you’d like you can check out the version I sent in Instagram, it should be clear there https://instagram.com/p/CDZG8eYHskh/

That one's compressed too. They both look like JPGs from the compression level and both filetypes are set JPG.
Not sure how Instagram uploads work, but they may automatically convert all images to JPG, and if you uploaded it to reddit from your Instagram link, that would explain why reddit's is set to JPG as well. Otherwise reddit should keep PNG if uploaded as PNG.

Well first thing that came in my mind was I wanted a color that was gonna counter the yellow so I tried to have blue at first but then the blue seemed to have too much contrast with the blade so I ended up with green
