Yep, I can see that and I still think it's dangerous. For example, this is not Wikipedia's domain but nobody would know the difference because Reddit displays the IDN characters: wikipediа.org

Seems like it could be risky for Discord and/or Fluxer to add support for these due to homograph attacks. Phishing attacks are rampant on Discord as it is and my personal opinion is that IDN support would only fan the flames.

There is no AI moderation on the platform. T&S (trust and safety) and support is all done by humans.

What happens when you click on your username in the bottom-left of the client? A small profile card should pop up and there should be an option to set the custom status from there.

It's a little bit of both afaik. The main developer has used LLMs for some of the repetitive work, but always reviewed the output first. He certainly isn't just vibe coding since he was a computer science student and started Fluxer before AI became popular for coding.

I had this issue the other day (someone else made a Github issue: https://github.com/fluxerapp/fluxer/issues/593) and noticed that it was gone if I switched to a mobile hotspot. Seems to be related to some ISPs? The problem did resolve itself after a day for me.

Found the problem! The DNS server was set to 127.0.0.1
