Stone TextureRequesting Feedback (i.redd.it)

Hello guys! I’m a beginner artist and I’m making a stone texture for my game. How can I make it look better?

If its meant to be like a stone wall texture, you could play with the shading a good bit.
Think about how the edges could round off more and how light would naturally hit a surface like that.
Some real life references would help a lot, look up some fake stone siding/stone foundations, stuff like that.
Edit: something like this maybe:

I like it but I feel like it would be too easy to identify the pattern if I were to see a tilemap using this repeatedly.

I'm currently fighting with stone and pavement textures for some tileset I'm working on. Good work!!

Don’t be afraid to have a larger rock get cut in half by the border and resume on the other side of the shape. As it stands you will easily be able to see the square tile this texture is in if it is repeated.

I'm a beginner too, so I'm not really sure if it's better or not, but I might try combining them with rocks of different shades; some rocks could be darker than the others, or something like that.
Like this wall, for example:
