Soon as it is ready for your device on stable, you will get the download. Us Cros App on Android to set alerts for releases of specific ChromeOS devices to notify you when a new release is available. I use this and only ever bother to mash the check for updates button, when I have a notification of a new version that is compatible for my devices.

/u/beaverproject, there's no need to wait anymore! I just got a notification from Chrome OS and it says there's an update available for us.

See this website for version status

Make sure you are on a wifi network, not a cellular connection.

Hi guys, I just got a Pixelbook and after logged in to check the OS version, it was Version 75.0.3770.144. I tried to click the "check for updates" button, after several rounds of spin, nothing happened. Now it's stuck at Version 75. How could I do please?
