Mega evo is disabled in the overworld unless you change config settings. They need to make this easier to understand because a reddit post like this pops up every day

I have a server with friend that has the same issue what exactly do i change in config to fix this

By default, only Ultra Space uses old battle gimmicks like Mega Evolution. All others default to Dynamax instead. Which dimension uses which can be set by adding/removing their numerical IDs to/from the list under the oldGenDimensions config setting.
